Game Overview: Jurassic Journey is an exciting card game that transports players back to the age of dinosaurs. Collect dinosaur species, use Fossil Cards to gain advantages, and engage in Dino Duels to build the most impressive prehistoric park!

Game Setup:

1. Shuffle the Dinosaur Cards and Fossil Cards together.

2. Place Era Cards face down in a separate pile.

3. Deal 6 cards to each player.

4. Place remaining cards as the draw pile.

How to Play:

1. On your turn:

   • Draw a card

   • Optionally play a Fossil Card

   • Optionally discard a card

   • End with 6 cards in hand

2. Fossil Cards trigger Dino Duels:

   • Choose an opponent

   • Compare dinosaur stats in chosen category

   • Winner keeps both cards and gains a special ability

3. After each round, players may trade dinosaur cards.

Winning the Game:

• First to reach 22 discovery points wins

• Count points from dinosaur cards (Tier 1: 1 point, Tier 2: 2 points, etc.)

• Add bonus points for collections:

  • 5 points for 3 dinosaurs from the same era

  • 8 points for 4 dinosaurs from the same era

  • 5 points for having dinosaurs from all 4 main groups (Theropods, Sauropods, Ornithischians, Pterosaurs)

Strategies to Win:

1. Balance collecting high-point dinosaurs with era-based sets

2. Use Fossil Cards strategically to initiate favorable Dino Duels

3. Learn dinosaur facts to perform well in Dino Duels

4. Trade wisely to complete valuable dinosaur collections

5. Aim for a diverse collection representing all main dinosaur groups
